My Story
We Overcome By the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony.
Dennis is a husband, father, writer, director, composer, and Truth activist. From 1997 to 2004, he faced unthinkable hatred at the hands of his father. There was little relief and no voice to stand up for him to end the bullying, intimidation, and mental and physical abuse.
In high school, a friend brought him a little green journal for him to write his thoughts down. That journal was used to help him escape the pain, as journal entries turned into poetry, and poetry turned into many spoken word performances, scripts, and movies. Today, his camera has become a voice that he didn’t have to stand against oppression, bullying, white supremacy, and hatred.
A graduate of Charleston Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At CSU, he walked away from his college football career his senior year. Feeling like he was supposed to quit the sport, he prayed, “If this is You calling me away from football, I need to hear from you verbally”. Within 15 minutes, he received an answer from a stranger who said, “He has something great for you to do”. Dennis later realized that though the enemy tried to destroy him with the trauma that his dad created, what the enemy meant for evil, Elohim turned it for good, to be a Truth activist through filmmaking!
In 2024, Dennis faced his toughest test to date. Child Protective Services illegally kidnapped his two-month-old and two-year-old son after an ER visit. A child abuse pediatrician lied and falsely witnessed that Dennis and Danielle had violently broken their son’s bone after an abnormality was found on X-ray. The event thrust them into the world of “Kidnapping Cartel”. In this place, trusted figures, under the guise of care, use their power and god-complex to falsely accuse and kidnap children to sell them, causing pain, suffering, and trauma. What was revealed to Dennis is that there is a Satanic agenda to destroy the family unit, through many “trusted figures” and mandatory reporters who falsely witness using the law, judges, social workers, and police as weapons. Dennis is an active voice against the evil of this oppression to expose it, so that people may return to the Truth and Guard The House.
By the power of Yahuah, Dennis has produced over 26 short films but is still at the beginning of his directing journey. Thus far, his work has been featured in Essence Magazine, FoxSoul, and various news outlets, and he has been a guest speaker at schools like Alabama A&M, Paul Quinn College, and Riverside Community College. Dennis is also the founder of the Greenwood Film Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Most importantly, though he does not subscribe to any organized religion, he is a follower of Yahusha of Nazareth, who is The Way, Truth, and Life!
